I go to University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Our school puts on comedy shows every month where they hire touring comedians to headline in the auditorium.

If you haven’t heard of him, this guy is the biggest name in Boston right now and he’s completely hilarious. He used to drop in to open mics that I was on. He’s hilarious.

Performing stand up for four strangers in a dark...

Blog Post: being likable & vulnerable
As an introvert and overall shy person, it’s very hard for me to be a likable person on stage.
As a comedian, I’ve been much more conversational lately- but it’s hard to win the audience over to my side. I can tell a story and have people laugh, but it’s hard to get the mood up and make people feel that they’re with me the whole time. Does that make sense?
